THHINK WORKSHOPS

I am passionate about workshops and believe in their potential for creative, active and engaged communities. I volunteer as a workshop presenter at my local library in Maleny and regularly host and facilitate workshop at schools, festivals and art galleries. In 2018, I coordinated a series of workshops through the USC Office of Engagement and the USC Art Gallery. The Books As Art series featured presenters: Jonathan McBurnie, Emily Larkin, Josh Wildie and Tash Turgoose and focused on writing and creating artists books, blackout poetry and experimental book forms. Coinciding with exhibitions at the USC gallery, these workshops included lectures, artist talks and hands-on sessions, followed by wine and nibbles.

In 2018 I presented a Visual Narrative (Comics) Writing workshop and a Wordless Picturebook forum and workshop at Lines in the Sand Writers Festival in Hervey Bay, Qld.

You can find a selection of recorded tutorials in book cover design, drawing, digital illustration here.
